I have changed the size of the rear pulley on my son's 716 puller to alter the ground speed. There never was a rear belt guide over the original pulley. It is almost impossible to change gears on this thing. Any ideas to solve this issue?? Thanks.

You can make one out of thin flat strap and bend to pulley diameter and weld mounting tabs to it and fasten to side transmission. Adjust to about 1/8'' clearance around the pulley. Or you can use a few L shaped rods and place in 2-3 spots to do same. Make sure it has top belt stop-guide on also. Rods would wok best for puller if your changing diameter of rear one from time to time.
