Is the exhaust manifold on the E the same as the 170 gas manifold? I am looking at the E motor to replace my 170 and the 170 needs an exhaust manifold.        Kurt

It'll work....good luck getting that 90 degree elbow unthreaded from it and installing the 170 pipe.

I used a hack saw to cut the elbow off flush with the manifold and then used a dremel tool with cutting disk to split the part of the elbow still inside.  Used a  chisel  to force in a bit and then screwed it out.
