have Model 330 6 row with good paint. has round seed boxes and square dust boxes. (2) 50 gal fiberglass liquid fert tanks. Needs new hoses for fertilizer. hydraulic cylinders and hoses on tool bar.

Does it have to be AC or can it be Duetz Allis? If so for not much more $ you get a much farther advanced planter

I have an AC 333 four row I bought for a project that I'm selling. It has model 78 air champ planter units, both corn and bean plates, two monitors. It needs work (blowers, openers, etc.) I have $125.00 into it. Located by Osseo, WI.

still havent founde a 6 row ..i was hopein to find one in wis ..prefer a allis or (landoll)..or a deutz /allis

Michaelwis, If you can find a DA 385 no til go for it! That was probably the best of the best. I had one and it was much superior to Deere, Kinze, White, and International. In a wet soil situation, the corn shoots would come up in that same rough fashion as the above ranking. The DA was a lot better for the simple fact that with the four disc system, a small slice of dirt was put over the seed and insured seed to soil contact where the others opened the furrow but did nothing to close it other than the press wheels. The same was true in standing corn stalks, bean stubble, and sod. Sod was hard to completely close even for the 385, but it did make an effort to achieve a closing. My Allis guy delivered it to me new and made the initial settings. After we were sure it was working right he kept asking if I had a faster gear. I pulled that planter in 3rd gear, 3rd range with my 7000 for 5-6 years until I retired. That was between seven and a half to eight miles per hour!, even in standing corn stalks!!!! There was a seed every six to six and a half inches with very few skips. Final populations were in the 27500 to 28000 range in 36" rows. If I were to farm again I'd have a DA 385, or Landoll(they bought them out), even though my son manages a CNH store!!! Unless there was a better planter now!
