I would like to replace all four tires on my 615 loader tractor. Currently, it has 16.9 x 24 10 ply on the rear and 7.5-16 8 ply (truck type) on the front. The tractor is used out in the field and only sees pavement when parked in the garage. It's used for loading manure, and lime out in the sandy fields, to loading firewood into the dump truck out on the woods. It would also be nice to pull a disc with it if needed.
What would be a good choice in tire size, tread type, ply, and construction? The fronts are too narrow and dig into the sand, the rears are industrial and have poor traction.
According to the manual, the following sizes are recommended:
6.0, 7.5, 8.25, 11
12.4, 14.9, 16.9, and 18.4

Get R-1's on the back (regular ag tread) works better, cleans itself better, pulls through the mud better. Go with the biggest one you can get on the rim.

My 615 has ag tread 14.9-24 tires fluid and added weight motor is 160 gas engine and I will run out of power sometimes in 2nd gear carrying logs up the hills in the woods. I would not want any taller tires it would really take more power away from it and this machine runs alot of hyds that really take hp to run. They are a great machine for a loader with great lifting power. I hope it runs another 30 years problem free!!
