no, I never saw a mufler like that.
Or did you mean the tillers. They are similar to Howard rotovators. May even be made by them or a later version of the ones that I have seen. Bob

Brian, is that at Tackaberry's place up around Athens?  I know the guy has tons of trucks and tractors of all colors.  I've never been there, but I heard about him from my neighbor.  As far as the tiller assembly, I do not believe that it is factory.  It would be interesting to see how it works though.

I thought the G had about 10HP. Would it have the nads to run that?
Just asking because I would like to have one. Be perfect for me with all the other gizmo's you can put on them.
Accountant (wife) would have a problem with it though.

I'm no farmer, but I'd bet they're for pushing leafy row crops out of the way so the tires don't run over things??? yes/no??

The B had sheild similar to that available. They were for beans, so the plants didn't get run over. Bob

Hello Everyone,
I just acquired a "new" G model with the same exact setup, i.e., the Ariens tillivator mounted on the belly.  We had to mount it without instructions so, it took a bit of time.  Everything went well.  However, we cannot get both belts, 1 from the engine pulley to the center pulley system and, 1 from the center pulley system to the tiller,  to reach the correct tightness.  The tightener with the turnbuckle(?) has been repaired/welded so I am not certain if it the correct length.  Its length will effect how the pullys' tighten.  There are other factors that will effect the belts, for example, where the tiller is mounted on the frame, actual belt lengths, Center pulley system mount location, etc.  I have no idea if the belts are the correct one's for that machine.  They seem about right but, they may be stretched way out.

This tractor needs to get to work on our farm.  So, I need it working correctly and this problem is taking up quite some time to try and rectify.  I can see that the system is going to be awesome for our needs once this last kink is worked out.

Thanks guys for your knowledge.

I don't know if they cover your implement.

I've seen similar set-ups before, on modern tractors, they are row till units, and likely you could find dealer info, on the internet.  Lots of that type stuff, in south jersey, and delmarva peninsula where lots of row crop veggies are sold...

Ther is one for sale in Belevidere NJ on Craigslist right now.
They were used in the onion fields around Florida New York. Orange County.
I bought a G up there but it didn;t have the rorovators on it, but there was one sitting next to it that had the units on it. I think that ine went to Massachuetts.
Mine was extended in width by and extra 12" to accomadate 4 rows of onions. They used 6" aluminum rods with a long bolt through it from the rim to the wheel. The front axle and steering rods were also extended. I has to make it narrow again to get it on my trailer. Bob
