Started to replace all my hoses, and realized that the fittings are not JIC. Are they some goofy british standard?

All the original fittings are a tapered end but they are Aerquip fittings which one can buy bulk hose and reuse the fittings on new hoses. I did that for years as I replaced the hoses as they fatigued. Then I made up new ends to use standard tapered thread hoses and now have replaced all hoses with these.
As I use all 3/4" or 1"  hose I also found another brand hose that fit the reusable fittings that did not have the cloth outer wrap, these had the same tapered seating surface and threads to fit. Worn areas on the steel lines I ended up brazing a steel patch over any bad or thin spots flowing the brass well into areas under and around patch.

( If you look close the fittings are the same thread and end taper as fittings used for gas piping fittings )

Thanks guys. I decided to switch everything over to JIC. It was only the four tube ends that were SAE 45 on my crawler.
