This fine specimen is often at the Waverly Nebraska tractor show, and it was again today! Pretty neat sounding rig!

Man , that thing looks like it just jumped out of a old Allis sales brochure. Fine. Anybody know what the HP and weight is on that old '21?

Looking at an original brochure...the HD21A was 256HP and weighed 65000 LBS. The HD21P was 274HP and weighed 67000 LBS. The HP ratings were set at the factory while the max HP for the 21000H engine was 385HP (for the time frame of this brochure).

I'm in the market for either a 16b or a 21. The price range I've seen for these is about comparable to a cable d8, but the AC is a much more modern tractor for the buck, and should last my whole life at my 100-200hrs. per year usage. Plus I just like loraine yellow....Wink

Thanks for the info,  Eric. That's just about the perfect size and weight for some rough Ozark trailblazing.  Now, are those advertised weights with blade? If I get one with a big ripper it should be a stump crusher.
