I think I'll treat my WD to fresh hydraulic fluid, she deserves it!
What is her capacity, 5 glns?

Thanks,
KC

I hope your fluid change goes better than mine did. I ended up using two gallons after a line to my loader blew.

It ain't much but 5qt seems like too little.Been a while. Just be sure to check it as full with lift arms up and engine off.Wipe the dipstick off and re-insert for accurate reading. You can check it before startup but oil will read higher on the stick before you wipe it off which can make you think it's got enough when you don't.

Also pull the little pipe plug at the bottom of the control hsg to drain it all.

My WD-45 Owners Manual says 6 Qts.
I also advise doing what Steve M. says; there may be a bit of sludge in there.
