I went to the Colorado Farm show in Greeley today.  Lots of Green and maybe almost as much challenger yellow, went into the building the last remaining AGCO dealer displays in and discovered 3 McCormick tractors, asked him (Carl Luther) what's the deal, he said "Had to do something, AGCO screwed us over."  So no more new AGCO's in Colorado.

WOW! Luther's not orange anymore! I've dealt with them years ago when I lived in Colo. Parts lady Jenny sure knew her AC tractors! Sad to see! Arrogant German mis-treating his dealers!

Is Hammons still Agco? They were White when I worked at Prospect Implement. I was there when Agco bought White.(til 93) We were also a Versatile(FWD Ford) dealer. After I moved, they were selling Bueller Versatiles. I wonder if that is there only line now.

Hammons closed up shop a few years ago, now a woodworking shop.  Luther used to be the Case dealer until the Case IH deal, what was Ellis & Capp, now B&G, got the CaseIH dealership. Luther got the AGCO dealership about the same time.  Buddy ? took over the old B & G store on the 85 bypass and took on MF and MacDon and is G&M Implement.  They also bought a dealer in Sterling, Co - also MF. BiState JD is now Colorado Machinery, out of Ft. Collins.  I'm sure there are some other changes but my mind is getting overheated trying to remember who did what.  About the only dealer that hasn't changed is Fred Gibbs with the Zetor dealership.

Oh Yeah, Prospect Imp. is still AGCO but they don't carry tractors as far as I know, just various AGCO tillage tools and planters.  They are still the only Buhler dealer for N E Colorado.

What was the dealer in Greeley?  I remember going by there and seeing Agco and MF both.
