We got a little over 4" of rain this morning, Here's a video of it going through the front corn field and my yard then going on down river.

Looks like you are not the only area with a excess of water , heard they got 4" to 6" up in Fargo area also so nothern MN and ND have flooded fields.

Sorry to see you getting hammered like that. We have been plenty wet here, but not 4" at a time wet! Hang in there, there are brighter days ahead.

Sorry to see that, Don ol' buddy! We've been getting hammered here as well with lots of rain! Around here we were about 8 1/2" over about a week and a half ago, but now about 12-14" over! Hardly anyone around here has their crops in yet. It's a mess!

Don - OUCH! How high was the corn? We finally got my corn planted Sunday....had 1.2 inches that night and Monday which wasn't horrible but it looks like another 3-4 inches last 2 days...hopefully we'll only have to replant part of it....actually glad beans are not planted yet....on the bright side my wheat looks great! Sorry to hear all the water troubles. We're the exact opposite here. Not a drop in months and less than three inches last year and not even quite 3/4" so far this year. If we could only find a way to send your extra water down this way we'd all be happy!

I need to get a 12" rain gauge or bigger, this little 6" unit is not holding all the rain from one day to the next. lol My corn is about 4" high, I think most of it will be OK but some of it got washed out. The good thing is the water went down fast as it came up.
O well thats farming!!!!

Here's some shots of the dog on the roof of the house high and dry, the trailer and pickup that we pulled up the hill to dry ground. He was looking at the water coming up so fast! All the water was messing up his play ground. lol

Its drying here. Thursday evening looking west and south from the high spot on the road I counted 20 ponds. Friday, only 10.
How do you tell a lake from a Minnesota farm field?
The farm field has a tractor and maybe an implement or two sitting in it.
