My wife and I are working on our bucket lists. Had a chance to try out Segways on the Chicago lake front (DW's birthday present trip). Easy to learn and a blast to drive. They had a few with fatter tires that would do alright on gravel or dirt trails. I would never have been able to walk the distance we covered with the Segways, but I did get tired of standing after a while. There was a rest break part way through the 2 hour tour. I asked the guide how many get driven into Lake Michigan as there were a lot of tour operators on the lake front.
