A friend of mine who is also an Allis Brother wanted me to see if anyone knew what this wrench is for. It is about 12" long and has a 3/4" 6 pt. on one end. On the other end is a 1" square head on one side and a 3/4" square when you flip it over. On one side of the wrench it says: ALLIS CHALMERS MFG. CO. LA CROSSE WORKS. On the other side is a number: 300755. I tried to upload a pic but it was huge. I will try again. Thanks.

Before posting the picture, preview it and change the width and height by dividing both by something that will give you 600 wide.

I think if it says La Cross works, it is an implement wrench made in that branch. Bob

I have one of those wrenches also. I never tried it on anything associated with a Model "B". Perhaps Bill Long would know? Anyway, the guy I bought mine from said that it fit an A-C plow. I think the A-C plow works was in Lacrosse Wi. My 2 cents on the topic. Hope someone really knows. Going orange is going great!

They are for the plows. My Grampa worked there until his retirement. I only wish I had asked him a LOT MORE questions about the plant. But I was young then and didn't care about where Grampa worked and tractors at that time meant nothing but work. I'll ask him when I get to heaven.

If you look in the BC mower Setup and Operation manual, you will find it called out for the sickle guard nuts.

No doubt Ted,
I have so many things to ask my grandpa. I just hope I live life well enough to meet him in the after life.
