I have been searching for the swing pinion gear for my Case 880c and keep coming up empty handed. Does anybody know of any Case or  DROTT excavators that are being parted? any leads are appreciated, Thanks.

A cable-operated excavator uses winches and steel ropes to accomplish the movements. They are a natural progression from the steam shovels and often called power shovels. All movement and functions of a hydraulic excavator are accomplished through the use of hydraulic fluid, with hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors.

Chartrand Tractor in Redbud IL is slowly switching over from loaders and dozers to track hoes, you may want to give them a try as the last visit I had there they had many makes and styles.
