Can anyone tell me how much toe in is proper for a CA wide front? It has been too many years since I did this to remember how!

I&T book says 1/16". Does not say where it is measured from.

Usually measured from the center ribs of the tires, front and back, front to be 1/16" closer.

Always measured at front axle height front and rear on the tire.

Measure up from ground to center of axle. That is where you measure from. Better to measure from inside of rim. Tires can bulge. Of course rims can be bent too, but it is a better place to do it from.  It is a two man job.
