I love my 185 and you are gonna love yours too --- just a great all around tractor.

As mentioned, stay on top of conditioner in the antifreeze/coolant. We have two 185s, one is a 73 model crop hustler, and the other a late 79 model. I am not sure AC made a better tractor in my opinion - real versatile size.

OK, maybe dumb question, what kind of conditioner are you talking about? my M2 combine had a conditioner filter on it, 185 does not so what do I need to do? thanks

Antifreeze conditioner called supplemental coolant additive. No filter, just an additive additive to antifreeze. Correct level of additive is checked with test trips. Most SCAs contain high levels of nitrate and borate to help protect motor against acidity and prevent possible engine liner failure from cavitation.
