Could some one post a picture of what the draw bar looks like for a D17 wheatland, please.  I am talking about the bar and not the bail loop for a snap coupler.  Thanks.

I am trying to find out if the draw bar on the last tractor we bought, by chance has a wheat land on it.  A shop in Kansas, at some time, rebuilt the radiator  because it has a sticker from a radiator shop on it.  I wonder if at some time a replacement draw bar was used on this tractor. It does not look home made to me.  Everything else on the tractor is normal row crop.  I assume at one time it was located in the part of  our country that grows a lot of wheat.  Which would help explain this style.  Thanks

I took this picture of a D-17 in Ashville at the GOTO a few years ago, is this what you're talking about?

Acording to my 1960 price book, you could order any D-17 with the optional heavy duty drawbar. The Wheatland used the heavy duty drawbar but it would be possible to find any D-17 with the Wheatland type heavy duty drawbar.

Oh thanks guys.  This was a big help and now I know I do not have a wheat land draw bar.  I knew the bails were different than the row crops bails.  What I have is a home made "beefed up".  If was over kill for a D15, in my opinion, and most likely started life on some other D series tractor.  I really appreciate the responses.
