Need help changing the hydraulic fluid in a 7000, just brought one home yesterday. Have the fluid and filter, I've already removed the filter and drained what oil out that would come out of the plug where the filter is. Where else do I need to drain, as this doesn't seem like nearly enough oil drained out?

When I check the level on the dipstick at the back of the tractor, it's still full.. So I'd assume I need to do something to drain it out? Haven't worked on these series of tractors before, looks like I'm going to have to invest in a manual..

Any help's appreciated! Thanks!

There is another drain plug behind the fuel tank that takes 1 1/8" wrench. The dipstick you are checking is for the differential, not the hydraulics. Fill the hydraulics behind the batteries and use sight glasses to check oil level.
