Scores, wear lines in crank or bearing, copper showing through, rough surface of crank, uneven wear,

A few scratches in the bearing face mean there has been dirt in the oil. They can be cleaned up and reused if money is a problem. If you have wear or "scored" where you see areas of bronze thru the surface, that is excessive.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Mic the crank to see how much wear there is and if round , between rod and main wear in might not need regrinding, a few scores are normal IF the bearings have run for years.
As far as cleaning must should clean out well with just normal shop cleanleyness and flushing oil through passages with a good pump oil can .
