Bid a mowing and fence removal job for Ducks Unlimited and found out today I had the winning bid. Might lose my a$$, but at least I have my foot in the door for the next one. 1600' of 3 strand with RR ties for posts....that will be a job for the JD 7775 skid loader, tho :-( Good news is the wire looks good, bad new, that is a lot of ties to pull and haul off. I think the biggest part of that job will be getting the grass off of the wire before I roll it up. if those ties were pounded in you could be in for some real work ------------- There are 3 ways to do job GOOD, FAST, CHEAP. YOU MAY CHOOSE 2. If its FAST & CHEAP it won't be GOOD, if it's GOOD & CHEAP it won't be FAST, and if its GOOD & FAST it won't be CHEAP!!!! |

you're probably ok then. i watched a small cat dozer stand up the rear trying to pull a 4" pounded post. although that was in pa shale. ------------- There are 3 ways to do job GOOD, FAST, CHEAP.
