Where can you buy a spanner wrench to fit the AC loader cylinders. They have the flat type openings. Any help appreciated. Tracy Martin

Tracy - when we rebuilt my D17 SIV lift cylinders, my mechanic had a set of snap-on face-bin spanner wrenches and had one that fit the wiper end.  One of them he had to pin the end of the cylinder to a dozer drawbar and use a big cheater bar on it to come loose.   So the snap-on wrenches were tough enough for that.   Mike

Have you ever used a spud wrench?

Danny, the gland nut on these is below flush. It uses a slot type spanner, not the type with pins for use with holes in nuts. Slots are below flush, must straddle rod on each side. Thanks Tracy Martin
