I wanted it for the wheels and maybe the ROPS. The school district did tell me the engine is free so now I'm not sure if I want to bring it back to life or part it out. If anyone is interested in anything let me know then that might help me make up my mind

Too bad you didn't get the loader with it. I'd see if she'll fire up before I made up my mind. Could be that diamond in the rough we all dream about.
------------- Yea, I can fix that.....

ALWAYS... if it's free, change out the filters and fuel, check coolant and oil, put power to it and fire it up.
If you don't, then you won't know what you've got, nor will you know what you're offering for sale, nor what you're giving up.

thats why I'm waiting too pick it up so i can see what Ive got to contend with. The seller told me he was told by the S.D. it has 5200 hrs on it! Ive never seen a 5020/30 with that many so I'm hoping whoever looked at didn't realize there is a 1/10 position on the meter, one can only hope

well I finally got time to putter around with the tractor and after replacing the filters and some fresh fuel and a shot of ether she fired up and ran rather well for the first time in many years, I was impressed. so now the search is on for fenders, hood, footrests, hydraulic lines, steering wheel, grille, etc, etc, etc. wow what am i thinking!?
