How much can a 170 with a loader lift? I would need to lift about 3000 pounds off a semi trailer. With full rear weights and loaded tires would it be heavy enough? thanks guys

Sounds hard on your front end to me.

You are asking for trouble if you want it to pick up 3000 lbs.  You could probably handle it if you had 2 tractors lifting at the same time.

To lift 3000 lbs on pallet forks you would need a forklift or a +100 hp tractor. You would have to have a loader with 3.5"-4" cylinders to raise that much weight.
