ok just looking for some oppinions is it better to put all your weight on the front and back or the middle i see them both ways or on the wheels  just asking (mine are front and back only)

I don't think it matters on these slow pulling speeds

It does matter a little though with our superstock.  In light super we usually have ALL the weight in the front and adjust the drawbar for track conditions.  In a heavier class the weight goes in the middle, in front of the rear wheels or just behind the front wheels.  It seams like weight in the back causes a teeter totter effect and makes for trouble.

I think it just depends. I run no weight on the front of my altered farm. Its all on the belly and on the back.

I disagree with slow tractors not being so dependent on weight location:  At slow speeds, horsepower, momentum, and even tire pressure are reduced in importance to making a great pull.  Weight location is all you really have when pulling 3.5 mph.  Keep a log of where you pull, track conditions, chain length, etc., and do your homework before every pull.  Most importantly, record where your weights are!!!  Only my opinion, but it may help you.

I agree 100% with KevinC. Keep a record and watch what your competion is doing.
