How do you use a wide front WD belt pulley. Isn't the front axle in the way?

if it is drive over it with the rf wheel and then put it on, the top will be above and bottom will be below

On my 3 bolt front the bottom of the pulley is about a inch or so higher than the top of the front axle so depending on how high the other end was getting hooked up it could clear.

We had a wide front D-17 with a belt pulley.Ran an old buzz saw and a cider press with it.Do not ever remember it being a problem.I believe on the D-17 the belt pulley was higher than axle so I am sure we ran over the top.

let the air out of the tires...lol

you should be able to have what ever you running off the belt pulley set up to go above or below the front axle.
