Went to an estate auction today.  There were 3 1954 wd45s for sale.  All looked like they were in decent shape, i.e. straight tin, fired right up etc.  Before the auction, I talked to one of the helpers who drove all three and is familiar with AC and he said the trannies were good.  He said the hand clutches seemed a little loose.  One was a wide front, 3 bolt, and the word was that the hand clutch didn't stay in gear.  All 3 needed new rubber all around.

WF 3 bolt with a New Idea trip bucket - $2000
NF - $1300
NF - $1650
barely used New Holland 656(?) baler without bale thrower $7500
2 bottom SC rollover plow $500 to $600
2 row SC corn planter no fertilizer hoppers and agitator assembly looked rough $225

Probably should have jumped on the cheaper NF, just wasn't feelin' it I guess
