The "End Plate" gasket/seal on the pump is leaking. Tightened 4 screws, but no change. I guess I will send to pump shop for repair. To remove pump I believe there are some bolts/nuts under the engine timing cover that must be removed. Do I have to remove radiator to get to these? Also, will removing bolts/nuts allow anything to fall down into engine? Thanks for any advice.

Just drain the coolant and remove the hose to get the cover off. There are bolts in there that have to come out in order for the pump to come off. Nothing will fall out of place....

It is uncommon to see a CAV DPA pump leak there. Usually it's the throttle & Shut-off shafts. Very simple pump to pull and re-install. No internal timing marks to line up, just the dowel on drive gear, and chisel mark on mounting flange.
