I'm going to an auction this weekend that has lots of metal planter plates.  I was told the farmer had A-C planters, although none are there.  Any way I could identify A-C planter plates??  Any special markings or numbers of any kind that anyone is aware of?  Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, you can use use JD B type plates in Allis planters if you have an  adapter plate.  Take a look at http://www.lincolnagproducts.com/" rel="nofollow - http://www.lincolnagproducts.com/ .

Thanks for the response and letting me know about the adapter.  I was hoping though that someone on the forum might now if there was some kind of "identification mark" for the metal planter plates that would identify them as A-C.  Does anyone know of any or are they simply blank with no identification?  Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Some of the later AC metal planter plates that we had...had the AC logo embossed on the plate. I think these were mainly the bean plates...we had serval

ac plates have a flat plate that connects the plate crossway with a round hole in the middle for  a drive where jd plates are round only.
