Is this an Allis Chalmers 1 row pull type corn picker ? I have only one photo of these implements and the cornhead is on the opposite side to this one. Could it be a Case ? The colour is distorted. It's not my photo, just trying to help identify it for someone.

The elevator and the pto shield sure look familiar to allis though.

Thanks Randy. Another forum member has sent me a PM confirming the picker was made by Woods Brothers, later to be known as Woods Dearborn. An interesting video. I'll pass it on to my friend in Iowa. Don, you weren't the only one to think the drawbar, pto and shielding looked very much like Allis Chalmers. Thanks guys for your help.

I have Wood Brothers picker made prior to the Dearborn buyout(1947 I think). They are a Great picker if you like getting the job done with pretty clean corn in the crib. Mine looks just like that one except any paint on mine is the original gray that Wood Brothers used. I also have an Allis 1 row picker, it's all backwards of the Wood Brothers.
