B, C, CA, WD, and WD45. Pretty sure it will go in a d17 as well.

It will bolt into a WC, WD, WD45. Also WF and D17 assuming on the 17 that the bellhousing adapter is there. Otherwise, unless there is something I am horribly unaware of, It will NOT bolt into a b c or CA. I suppose you also need to mention the RC too, it will bolt into it.(although that would turn it back into a WC essentially)

If a CE engine bolts to an RC and a WD engine will bolt to it, why can't a WD engine bolt to a CA? Never been around an RC so there must be something different.

Same deal I believe, there is a bell housing adapter for the RC to accomodate the C engine  but as far as I know there is no way to go the opposite, that is a WD engine to a B C family rear end

I want one then, the adapter I mean. Then turn it around backwards and bolt a WD engine in a CASmile

If you build it................ I have seen a GM V8 diesel bolted in place of a 2 cylinder JD engine. Anything's possible.

When the 125 engine was used in the RC they didn't use the two top holes in the bell-housing. It is not possible to put the WC - WD engine into a B or C unless you have a large machine shop, there was one at the orange spectacular a few years ago that was major progect like one off flywheel and cutom sheet metal.

I figured there was a hitch to it, or else we would see it from time to time. Neat thought though I guess
