The left axel on my D17 series 3 has some play in it . When i hit bumps,weave or shake the tractor the axel moves enuff that it makes a knocking noise . How do i go about fixing this ?

under the dust cap on the inside of the axle there is a bolt with shims under it to control endplay If I remember right.
