If it was a 1946, it would have to be a prototype since the first G's were sold in 1948. I would like to see what is considered an Orchard model though.

With Pop we sold them for the life of the unit. I do not remember an Orchard Model being made. Also, I completely agree with Charlie. The G was not introduced till 1948. In fact, I remember going to the introductory meeting with my father in 1948. Let's see what they have. Would love to see pictures. Good Luck! Sometimes things get garbled in transmission.
First person says, "Dad said the tractor was used on truck farms" and that somehow mutates into an orchard tractor by someone that doesn't know what a truck farm is.
