Does anyone know a seal number that I could take to my local bearing house & get a replacement? If not, do you know the OD, ID & width dimensions for the seal?
I've never seen a listing for the PTO shaft seal for a B and I don't want to tear it apart until I have a new seal. ------------- "ALLIS EXPRESS" Allis Chalmers  1944 B, 1949 B,  D14, WC

I've been looking into the rear pto stuff on my CA lately and I'm pretty sure it's got the same seal as for the B (provided you've got a 1 3/8" pto shaft). My seal is a National 501135S but you better wait til someone confirms my info. You should be able to see the seal identification without disassembly by scraping/brushing away the crud.
