Gotta drive my D14 about 25 miles or 41km. What do you guys think it'll suck up in fuel for the trip?

I checked mine plowing running it full throttle for 5 hours. It used 7 gallons. I was impressed.

It borders the incredible, honestly. I can plow more with the 14 here in our clay ground with 2-16's than I can with the 45 on the same ground with 3-14's  using ten gallons of fuel. -consistently. No contest. I just drove her home from our local show about 7 miles and used less than a gallon and a half, thats what I put in before I left, and I read more on the gauge when I got home than when I started for home.

I estimate approx 1 1/2 to 2 gallons of fuel fot the trip.

My guess is also between 2 and 2.5 gallons. I used to make a living brush hogging with a D14 and it used 1 gallon per hr.

When dad got the 14 in 57 he ask a factory rep about gas usage . He said all you could force through the carb was 11/4 gal per hour . It is old now but i think i may have exceeded that  pulling it hard bushoging.
