Theres an auction coming up and they are selling an ac for row planter. I think its a 600 but hard to tell from the pic. My question is can I put kinze, or JD meters on it? Also its only a four row, How hard is it to put more panter units on to make a splitter system?

Why would you want different meters? Is the planter a plate-type or air system? The Allis air meter is about as good a meter as you can buy. Most of the frames were modular and could have row units placed however you wanted, as long as the spacing was 15" or greater. Should be able to fit 7, maybe 9 units on a four-row 600 frame.

I want to use it for corn and soybean test plots. I sell for a company that is owned by monsanto and monsanto bought Prescision Planting. the word coming from higher ups is that we start selling Precision Planting products in the next year or so, so I thought about putting meters on it that can be upgraded with the aftermarket parts and moniter. I agree about the air meters that allis made, Ive heard alot of good about them, Ive also heard that the pads wear out quick and their pricey? Idk if thats true. Just thought it would be nice to run the aftermarket products on my own planter. Especially since the planter will spend alot of time in potential customers fields putting in plots.

600 is the type of frame the row units were mounted on. You need the row unit series number. Plates or air?? Ryan

Its hard to tell by the pic, the planter is in weeds, but I believe its air.
