I thought I saw a post a long time ago about mid '70's corvette flame red is the same as the 8000 series orange? A friend in the local classic car club is trying to sell some extra, but I don't know if it is close to the right color or not and my eyes aren't good enought to catch any difference. I tried to look it up through search, but it times out on me. Maybe someone will know the answer?
If by chance you know of a wheel paint that stands up to penpack I would be interested in hearing about that also..Thanks for the help. Jim

I used "Big Bad Orange" to paint my 8070. That's the colour used on the General Lee. I think it's a perfect match. This colour is on the shelf at the auto parts store and I don't have to worry about some teenagers mixing abilities.I know this doesn't answer your question , sorry. |
