Some of you may remember that I have been shopping for a CUT/SCUT tractor.  After a lot of looking and comparing I ended up with a John Deere.  It was getting down to Deere or Kubota; I tried a Kubota and didn't like the feel of it.  I couldn't get past the whole shifter on the left hand fender setup; it felt awkward to me.  I ended up getting a good deal on this 650 from great dealer.  This 650 only has a about 900 hours on it.  The best part is that about a year or so ago a piston ring seized up over the winter and caused some damage.  The long time previous owner had the engine TOTALLY rebuilt from the head down...rods...sleeves...bearings...head rebuild EVERYTHING (the dealer gave me the paperwork that backed everything up).  It only has about 50 hours on the rebuild.  It's got a set of rear hydraulic remotes, weights, and all the instrumentation works!

I took the photo below after I was done with nearly three hours of finish mower work.  A very comfortable tractor to work with.

Nothing wrong with other colors.  You did good and it looks to be in great shape.

After 1985 I actually like John Deere. Ours are tough machines.

Thanks Joe, but it turns out that I will not be needing it.  When it was dropped off a nice new crisp 650/750 manual was included that I was not expecting to receive.

You guys in GA checkout Dowda Farm Equipment....they treated me right.

I would have loved to got a Agco/Agco-Allis, but it is rare to come across one in my area.

Wait a minute-AGCO/AGCO-Allis rare in GA? I thought AGCO corporate HQ was in GA or have they changed that too? I think I just figured everything out. Nobody in GA bought orange tractors so execs at AGCO not seeing orange on the way to work decided all of North America was not in the market for orange tractors because as we all know they can't see past the end of their noses anyway.

Looks like a really nice setup for mowing -- I'd park it in my barn.

Lionel, AGCO's office is about 10 miles from me, and yes it is hard to find a AGCO dealer.
Last time I did a dealer search there were only 5 Massey dealers and one AGCO dealer in the whole state . Guess the corporate guys though their tires and windows would be safe if they built here!
