I did a mowing job for a guy today and there were a set of 20.4 x 38 tires and rims that he said he would have to take to the dump.....I said I would come back and get them if he didn't want them. So, looks like I have a set of big tires...wondering if all 38" centers on a D19/190 are set up to handle both spin-out and bump rims....these are bump rims. Would also be looking for some clamps.

I have some clamps from 34" wheels, but they are heavy so I would assume shipping would be quite spendy.

Probably 20.8 x 38. That is the next standard size above 18.4. Be careful, you may not be able to pick one off you if it falls on you.

The fronts might need 11.00 x 16 to match.

I've always thought that 20.8 x 34" tires would be good on a one ninety. I had that size with axle duals on an early 4430. It's a size that I rarely see. IMO 20.8 x 38 is too much tire for a one ninety.

Calvin I saw a 200 at an auction one time with 20.8x34, it looked good. That size is kind of an odd size though. I wonder what a 190 would look like with 24.5x32 or 23.1x34 later is also a less common size??

I was thinking of running them unloaded on a mowing tractor....better floatation. Aren't they the same height of an 18.4 x 38?

Pretty sure they're a little bigger.  If I remember, 18.4x38 is about the same size as 20.8x34, so that would put 20.8x38 around 18.4x42 size.  BKT shows 20.8x38 as 550mm diameter and 18.4x38 as 467mm diameter.

A 20.8 x 38 is a lot taller than an 18.4 x 38. They are the same height as an 18.4 x 42

If I did pictures I'd put my 65XT with 23.1/34's on here. Seems I have alot more room left over in the old stlye fenders than the one with late fenders pictured above. I believe they were off a deere combine.
