I need to know the distance from the rocker shaft to the hole for the lift.

5" to the center of the hole on mine

JoeM (GA), thanks. That may be why I have trouble lifting the mower. I built one and the distance is about 12", need to shorten the thing and have more leverage.Gary in Texas
