my son in law is looking at a massey 90 or super 90? Are their any significant issues with these. It has a loader and 3200 hours, 4 cylinder gas.  $3500.  I told him $3500 gives a good selection of older tractors, but he wants a loader and 3 point. He is buying something near Dayton/Columbus Ohio.   he doesn't need this big of a tractor either.

thanks,Larry

There is a bunch of nice AC and David Brown tractors in your area at lower hp and fel at good prices. I talked to my MF buddy, he said it's a good ole tractor but it's really thirsty.

Power steering?  I'd want that for sure if it had a FIL on it.  If it has then I think it would be a good tractor.  I see many parts that are the same as on my F40.  Left side of engine looks exactly the same as mine which is a Continential Z134 engine.  I would guess this one may be the same physical engine as mine but with larger sleeves to give more CI's.

Looks like a well cared for tractor! And it would do more work then a small one for same dollars. Make sure it has power steering and it works.  I  personally never cared for this series of Massey's. But some did, See more them being fixed up for shows. Check out the 3pt. hydraulics with something heavy on it. Should lift smooth and not jerky and when in transport it should hold load study.

I just noticed the multi-power sticker! Ask if its been redone? They free wheel in low range. Drive it to test. It should hold back in high range and shift smoothly-quick! Cost to repair it is more than $3500.00 if parts are available still?

I would pass on it since it's Multi-power but that's me!
