I am thinking about removing the Excel cab from my tractor and making it an open station tractor.

Has anyone ever done this before, if so what do I need besides fenders and a new gauge cluster cover?

Any idea where fenders could be found?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thinking of taking mine off my late 1970 III as well. It is a Stolper and in pretty good shape, but nobody has bit at even 200.00. Since I am not set up to lift it that high for removal, just may take it apart in pieces with an electric hack saw. If I go that route, anything I can remove will be saved and offerred up to others; good blower motor assembly, rear swing-out window and door halves as the only bad glass is the windshield, cracked years ago but usable. Got her cheap from the original owner and only 3700 hours, plus rear pie weights and near new 18.4x34 rears. Just don't have a use for it down here and adding an interior so a/c would be worth using does not interest me.
Someday she will be coming off, one way or another . . . . . .
