My Dad ran into a Deere Collector that  what he says is a Gleaner A but after looking at it the motor does not look right. The information that I found says "A" wiil have a Ford 226 Flathead or the Buda 230. However this Combine has a Hercules 237 Flathead in it. and before some says look at the tag that is not possible since the tags were lost 30 years in the field. Also a side note this combine has set inside the whole time so it is good shape.

The old A used the Hercules flat head and later after AC bought Buda and gleaner they used the Buda. The Ford was used on the T.
The R was about the same as the A except it used a raddle in the back.   MACK
