Was there someone on here that put a 5.9 cummins in a 8000 series. Was it a 8010 or 8030? What tranny did it bolt too? Was there adapter plates? Have a thought about putting a 5.9 in a 8010 tractor. Could I get to 7000 lbs? Did any Allis ever come with a factory cummins other than the 440. Had a lot on my mind after mowing lawn for 3 hrs. Thinking of a project to build in fall of 2013. The only AC farm tractor with a Cummins from the factory was the 440.

| I talked to a guy about 8 years ago who put a 5.9 cummins in an 8010. He said he loved it. More power and good fuel economy. He said he found a place online that he contacted and told them what he was putting the cummins motor in and they sent him everything he needed and it bolted in like it came from the factory that way. I am planning to do a cummins conversion in my 8010 this fall unless it will be too expensive. Good luck w/ yours if you try it. |

| Google that topic, there was a place in (Indiana?) that offered kits, lots of different ones. An 8.3 into an 8000 series must be pretty easy, i've seen lots of them done that way. |

The guys building the kits and installing Cummins in A-C tractors are Hunleys who are former A-C dealers in Indiana until Agco didn't want them any more. Hunley's also have two of the originial 8090 experimental tractors. I know of a 8050 and a 7580 with 8.3 Cummins installed with their kits and the customers love the conversion. ------------- Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed |

With enough money and modifications you can put a Cummins in anything. ------------- 1937 WC, 1950 CA, 1959 D14, 1967 190XT, 2006 Ram 3500 |

| I have a 177 hp b series hunley conversion in a 7060 and it does good. It is easy on fuel. I wouldnt want it set at much more thatn 120 hp in an 8010 though, a lot more low end torque than a 301 would have |
