Hello All-

Have a question about the best way to go about turning over the engine on a 190xt in order to line up the timing marks on a Roosa fuel pump.  Just tried getting a wrench on the crank nut, but it's pretty tight quarters.  Any advice is greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Usually from the pump side or underneath , it maybe quarter turns but alot of times that mark is hard to see; or underneath the flywheel/clutch theres a hole for a big screwdriver etc to catch the flywheel teeth , then have someone watch

Troy I turned mine over from the alternator side carefully with the fan and putting tension on the belt. If you go past your mark I found I could not back it up, had to go around again. I turned the engine oner more revolutions than I care to remember! You can use the starter for some of it, but when the 25^ gets anywhere close you have to go really slow, and 4 eyes work better than 2!

Used the starter first to get it close in the window on the pump. Then I removed the starter and used a pry bar to move till they line up.    Bill
