is this bearing adjustable? i am having a vibrating problem. tires shake all over in 3rd gear when i hit a bump, i am new to the game any help very much appreciated here , i checked wheel bearing's and the bar from the steering box to the front end needs to be replaced it has been lets say hit with a hammer to give it a few extra days of life ,lol. thank you new proud owner of this model c 1941 :)

There are shims in the vertical spindle. There are also shims between the pedestal and the front support housing .  If one is change the other may need adjusted.

The upright pedestal is bolted to the gearbox with 4 cap screws. There are both paper  and steel shims located between the 2. You must remove shims to tighten your steering. When reinstalling use 1 paper and then 1 steel. Remove enough shims tO eliminate backlash, but not too many to cause it to be tight. When reinstalling the pedestal have the steering in the forward position and the front wheels to match, to get timing correct. LOL Bob
