Just when you think there is no more ways to butcher the name a new idiot rears his ugly head.

Her's something worse than that.  I called a tractor dealer to ask about some equipment.  He asked what I was useing I said an Allis 5040.  The reply "I'm not sure I know what that is".  I said an Allis-Chalmers....he goes....ohhh...oh yeah.

I was talking to another dealer one time and mentioned AC.  He said...oh Allis-CHAMBERS.

How can people that make a living off tractors screw that up????

"ran when parked" should be banished from the english language, all tractors ran when parked... the tractors that quit running just parked themselves LOL
