Thanks to your help  the engine is almost ready to go in. I have the Water pump on pully bored and on but it is out of alignment by 3/4 of an inch or so.  I have linkage issues on the combine carb. I need to change it over to tractor linkage, I finally gave up on a used one localy and oredred a rebuild kit with shafts included. I am ready to tackle the gov. I am attempting to attach two pics the second one is side ways, my finger would be the top. one of the plug I think I need to knock out, and one of a threaded adjusting rod???? I need to know more on this, what is it? where does it need to be set? A mechanic that spent his prime at an Allis dealership in the 60's suggested I use the E Gleaner spring. I have parts on order, plan on  putting the engine into the tractor tomorow.
