How complicated is it to switch from a narrow front to a wide front on a CA?  I have a CA that has clutch and engine problems that has a wide front and another CA with a narrow front.  I would like to switch front ends if possible but would like to find out what kind of issues I might encounter.

Not many. After you get the radiator off the front and the steering arm disconnected you have four nuts that hold it to the engine. I jack under the torque tube where the wishbone stud goes thru. Just take the weight off and you can roll them off and on. Have to watch the narrow to keep it from getting away from you and smashing a toe or something. In years past I have done them by myself. I might have to wait for help now on the narrow or just get out of the way and let it drop.

There is a timing mark on the steering box shaft that comes out under the gas tank on left side.  There is also one on the pitman (bell crank) that the long tie rod goes to.  This long rod goes to the front steering rod.  Check to see if the two marks are lined up.
