This morning I began the repair on my leaking lift arms. I removed the outer snap ring, removed the splined arm with little problem, I soaked it down with wd 40 and wired brushed the splines first. Now my question is there something else around the shaft? I could see no other snap ring, and does this have O rings or a regular seal? I hope to order parts monday to finish this repair.
Thanks'
Rodd

I think there might be a felt seal in the arm or next to it.  I have also found a thin flat washer between the arm and housing...not sure of the purpose. There shouldn't be much oil that gets up that far.

Rodd,
Go to the AGCO website and look at the parts diagrams. They will show you everything you need to know as well as the Part Numbers. There is only an o-ring to seal and one steel washer per side, unless an additional washer was needed to set the end play.

After 40 years, they tend to get rusted on to the splined staft.  Feed the oil to it and tap with a hammer to try to loosen it.
