I have a AC acc45 ps forklift that i am trying to get back running after a complete engine, transmission and hydraulics overhaul. I supposedly has a continetal g153 engine. I cannot find any engine overhaul manual. I have hunt and picked all the other systems. Having trouble timing the engine to start it. Trying to verify camshaft timing, static timing and dynamics timing. Also distributor cylinder one position.Confused

Engine casting is AC 4516683

This is not the same engine, but continental didn't use a lot of different designs on engines.  I got a lot of help from this manual.

I finally got a manual for my ACC-55K from Komatsu who finally bought out the folks that bought the Allis lift equipment line.  Very nice people.  When I go to the farm tonight, I will find better info for you.   Dave

Unfortunately, mine is not a continetal engine. Already have that manual. It is a flat top L-head engine. Mine is more like the buda engine. It has overhead valves.

here are some pics

That is an Allis-Chalmers (Buda) 153 engine. The 6 cylinder version is a 230 used in Gleaner A combines. May help your search.
