In the past i have seen posted a way to prime oil pump prior to starting the engine.
It was a quite a while ago so i don't recall the method. Can anyone help me on this?
I want to do this right. Thanks to all for your help, George

I usually remove the line that comes out of the torque tube and goes to the filter, turn it in an upright postion and pump oil into it with a pump oil can. I have also used a siphon pump and pumped oil into the tube. This way I can over pressure the pressure relief valve and pump oil into the cam, which allows some oil to go onto the rods and timing gears. Pump is about $4.00 at Harbor Freight. Bob
